Class-wise student lists
Choose which columns to include: student name, father’s name, contact number, admission number, gender and class. Select student status and sorting, with Urdu student names where saved.
New features and improvements, with practical guidance for your school.
Open School reports in your portal to preview and download A4 PDFs with your school’s heading. Choose the report, class and dates, then customise the details you need.
Choose which columns to include: student name, father’s name, contact number, admission number, gender and class. Select student status and sorting, with Urdu student names where saved.
View daily, weekly, monthly or custom-date collections. Filter by class, payment method or collector, then download detailed entries or daily totals. Access follows staff permissions; teachers cannot view fee collections.
Print recorded class-test marks or blank sheets for the selected recorded tests. Create student result summaries for a week, month, quarter, half-year, year or custom dates, based on recorded marks. Keep tests and formal exams separate, filter by subject or student, and choose separate student pages.
Review the report on screen and save your school’s report preferences. Missing marks are shown separately from zero scores. Existing official graded and ranked result cards remain unchanged.
Detailed fee-collection history starts with this release on 4 October 2026. Earlier paid balances are preserved as opening history, not reconstructed as past daily receipts. Existing fee balances and school prices are unchanged.
You can now choose which subjects appear on each class’s result cards, with separate selections for Tests and Exams.
School owners, head teachers and admins can select a class, open Manage Subjects, choose the required subjects and save. Add a new subject or remove one from the class’s reports. Find the controls in Results, Tests and exam details.
Excluded subjects no longer affect result-card totals, percentages, grades or class positions. The same selection applies to monthly test sheets, result exports and parent result views.
Removing a subject from reports keeps its recorded marks safe. Select it again to bring those marks back. Existing reports stay unchanged until your school saves a subject selection.
Each selection applies to all periods for that class in the chosen section. Configure Tests and Exams separately.
You asked, we listened. Feedback from schools and madrisas helped shape these four improvements, now available in PakEducate.
Closed on Friday and open on Sunday? Choose your working days in Settings → Bell Schedule & School Days. Attendance and dashboard holiday reminders follow your school calendar.
Playgroup starts at 8:00 and senior classes at 8:30? Create separate bell schedules and select which classes follow each one in Settings → Class-specific timetables. Teacher schedules show the assigned class timings.
Keep donation records in School finances. Record money as Received when it arrives, or Pledged when promised. You can mark a pledge received later and keep the donor, date and purpose together.
Choose a date range in School finances to see collected fees and received donations minus paid salaries and expenses. Unpaid fees, pending salaries and donation pledges stay separate. If a salary was also entered as an expense, match the records so it is counted once.
The financial total shows net money movement, not your bank balance. Opening balances and School Shop transactions are excluded. Older fee records use their saved payment dates.
New green "Send via WhatsApp" button on result cards, AI progress reports and fee receipts. Click it and the parent's WhatsApp opens with a polite bilingual message and a private link prefilled — they tap, see the document inline, no login. Links expire automatically after 7 days. Saves ~30 seconds per parent (no more downloading, finding the number, attaching the PDF).
For schools that haven't set up fee structures or started marking attendance yet, the dashboard tiles used to show "0% collection / 0% attendance" — which looked alarming. They now show a clear "Set up fees" / "Mark attendance" prompt with a button that takes you to the right page.
Every night at 2am PKT, the system runs 6 cross-checks across every active school: no orphan attendance / fees / results, no impossible exam scores, no overpayments, no missing academic years. Anything that drifts is logged with date + detail, so any data weirdness is caught within 24 hours, not weeks later. Head teachers can also run the check on demand from the dashboard.
Shared report links (the new WhatsApp send flow) automatically clean up from our storage after the 7-day expiry plus a 30-day grace window. No PDFs sit in the cloud forever.
New module: bilingual book registry (English + Urdu titles), bilingual shelf locations like "Cabinet 1 / الماری نمبر ۳", issue/return with student auto-pick, "all copies are out" alert showing exactly who has each book and when it’s due back, WhatsApp overdue reminders to fathers, and per-year stats with one-click Excel export. Head teacher picks specific staff (usually one librarian-teacher) who can issue books — Library only appears in the sidebar for assigned staff.
Bilingual A5 shop receipt PDF (school-identity only, no PakEducate branding) with download + WhatsApp share. Credit sales can be settled later with the actual payment method recorded. Voiding a sale requires a reason, can restore stock, and excludes the sale from totals + family-credit reports. Outstanding shop credit now appears alongside tuition dues in the family panel — kept separate so reports stay clean.
Attendance marking is now disabled when the school is closed — Sundays (or whatever days you set in Bell schedule), plus one-off holidays you add in Settings → Holidays & closures. Owners and head teachers can still override the lock for make-up classes; teachers and clerks cannot. Bilingual labels on every holiday (Urdu + English).
Both modules now use the same model: head teacher picks specific staff members (not a role-wide toggle) and only those staff see the entry in their sidebar. A 30-teacher school where one teacher runs the library has 29 sidebars without the Library entry — clean and uncluttered for everyone else.
The Hostel page used to show fake rooms and boarders behind a "Preview" badge, which confused paying schools. Replaced with a clear "Coming Soon" landing that lists the four planned pillars (room allotment, boarder records, night roll call + leave, separate hostel fees) and a WhatsApp button for boarding-school prospects to register interest.
For any school that hadn’t set up the Shop, the page used to display sample uniforms and fake recent sales until the API replaced them. Empty state is now empty — schools see their own data only.
The Inventory tab compressed 10 cramped columns into 5 smart ones (Item / Category / Stock / Price / Performance) — no more horizontal scroll, low-stock rows now carry a red left-border instead of needing a separate Status column.
Today’s Situation now uses today-only attendance records with Pakistan date handling. It no longer mixes older attendance records with today’s active student count.
The attendance alert now shows incomplete classes and sample unmarked students, so the head teacher knows where to follow up instead of seeing only one school-wide number.
Dashboard fee collection now uses the current fee period only, with real pending and overdue counts from fee records. The old estimate based on rupee amounts has been removed.
Attendance trend now receives daily attendance data for longer ranges, so 7-day, 30-day, term, and year views are based on the right records.
Teachers can view other classes for awareness, but only their assigned class can be managed. Other students appear as View only, and protected actions are blocked on the backend too.
Total Marks has been removed from the roll-number slip setup, date sheet display, and generated PDF. Schools can prepare slips without entering marks.
A trash icon now appears next to each saved mark on Results → Enter Marks for senior roles only. Click it, confirm, and the row is removed. Teachers continue to fix typos by re-saving — only senior roles can permanently delete. Every deletion writes a hidden audit row (who, when, previous marks) so a deleted mark is always recoverable.
Head teachers can now create, set-current, and delete academic years from Settings — no need to ask support. The form pre-fills with the standard Pakistani academic year window (1 April → 31 March). Years that have classes attached cannot be deleted, with a clear bilingual error.
Yesterday's "create an academic year first" warning on the New Exam form previously named a settings page that didn't exist. With today's release, that page is real — head teachers can create the year right there in Settings.
Result cards now include a dedicated attendance strip showing present days, absent days, late days, and overall attendance percentage — scoped to the academic year. Hidden automatically if no attendance has been recorded.
The family panel on each student profile now shows every sibling's class, section, and outstanding fee balance. Total family dues appear in the panel header. No more switching between tabs to check who owes what.
Five new optional fields added to the online admission form at {school}.pakeducate.com/apply — Religion, Student's contact number, Father's occupation, Disability type, and Disability additional details. All appear on the parent receipt and the head teacher review dashboard.
If a school hasn't created an academic year yet, the "New exam" form now shows a clear bilingual warning explaining what to do — instead of failing silently when Create is tapped.
School logos were appearing broken in the fee receipt modal and print window due to a browser cookie restriction. Fixed — logo now loads correctly in both the on-screen preview and the printed receipt.
The action queue in the Project Lead dashboard now surfaces all new leads from the last 7 days and schools whose trials expired recently — so the team knows exactly who to call each day.
Teachers no longer see school-wide student counts, total staff numbers, or any fee data on their dashboard. The dashboard now shows only attendance, results, schedule, and AI reports — nothing more.
Monthly fee collection chart, fee stat card, and fee signals in the "Today's Situation" panel are all hidden when a teacher logs in. Financial data is for Head Teachers and Admins only.
Teachers can now generate AI-powered student progress reports directly from their dashboard. Previously this was restricted to Head Teachers only.
Head Teachers can precisely control what each Admin account can access — fees, payroll, results, students, classes, admissions — via the Teachers page. New admins start with full access; permissions can be restricted per person.
Our first formal Service Level Agreement is live. 99.5% uptime, 30-min response on critical issues, automatic credit on your next bill if we miss SLA. Read it at pakeducate.com/sla.
Bookmark status.pakeducate.com. Real-time API health + incident history, updated every 30 seconds. When something feels slow, check here first.
Teachers can no longer access student fee data through any path — backend API + frontend UI both gated. 135 automated tests run on every code change to keep this true forever.
182 phantom duplicate fee entries removed across 15 schools. Fee totals are now accurate. Database-level constraints prevent future duplicates regardless of code.
When you click "Generate Fees", you now see exactly what happened: how many students got fees, how many were skipped (already had a row), how many are inactive. Click "View inactive students" to fix data.
When you click "Admit" on a new application, the admission fee row appears in the Fees page automatically. No more manual entry.
"Generated by PakEducate" removed from fee receipts, result cards, ID cards, salary slips, admission forms. Only your school's identity now appears on parent-facing documents.
Send bilingual messages (Urdu + English) to all parents — by class, grade, or whole school. One click, every family informed. No third-party tools needed.
One-click WhatsApp reminders to families with outstanding fees. Grouped per family (siblings count once, not three times). Bilingual templates included.
Siblings now auto-detected via father's CNIC. Tagged with a colored FAMILY badge. Shared notes panel — write once, applies to all siblings ("10% sibling discount agreed Apr 2026").
View entire class attendance for a month at a glance — students × dates grid. Bulk WhatsApp reminders for absent students with one click.
All students × all subjects in one table. Filter, search, CSV export, print-friendly view. Replaces the slow per-student lookup.
Dashboard now opens with a focused alerts panel: pending admissions, overdue fees, today's unmarked attendance, expiring job postings. Six signals, one strip.
Add monthly tests separate from main exams. Find any student in 2 seconds with the new search bar.
Student lists across attendance, results, and fees now show "Ahmed Ali s/o Tariq Khan" — much clearer when multiple students share first names.
Public application form at {your-school}.pakeducate.com/apply. Bilingual, photo upload, parent gets a printable receipt. Head teacher reviews from admin → clicks "Admit" → student record auto-created. WhatsApp templates fire on status change.
Post jobs on your school's public page. Candidates apply with CVs. "Call for Interview" button sends a one-click bilingual WhatsApp. Talent Stream auto-suggests teachers from across the platform daily.
The AI Ustad chatbot can now hear and speak. Click the mic, ask in Urdu, hear the answer back. Same bilingual deflection logic, now hands-free.
Global 1500/day cap on the AI bot keeps costs predictable. When exhausted, parents see a polite "استاد ابھی سویا ہے" — they know to come back later.
Job application forms, demo requests, admission forms — all now use a canonical Province → District picker. No more typos or "Lhr" vs "Lahore" confusion.
See every school + every demo request on a Pakistan map. Province + district counts. Lets us prioritize regional outreach.
Admission and job application forms now detect Urdu vs English automatically based on browser settings. Parents see their language without clicking anything.
